Major snow melt today. Hole 2 almost snow free. Lots of water and mud though.

probably yes... Something sturdy that can be wedged underneath so you can pry-up on it, ya know... l think a shovel would suffice... not a flimsy one! ...if the ice is in fact still there... it was ~1.5 inches thick ~11:45 this morning

we made the progress we did today with a sturdy branch. that progress allowed stand-and-deliver footing on the teepad
