I played Mt. Kisco for the 2nd time yesterday. My 1st was 2 years ago. I liked the layout, elevation changes. No tee pads-tee markers. Definetly a well designed fun course. I was only able to play 1-15 + 21.

If you play Kisco, you have to play FDR as well. They are only 20 minutes apart.

Zip and I played dubs at Kisco last spring. I like the course. You go around this big hill, up and down through the woods. No big rip shots unless you play a tournamnet where you throw over the playing fields.
They may be getting new baskets, the tees still fairly rough?
I want to check out FDR's new holes, sounds like an improvement.

Anyone headed to Mt. Kisco for the ice bowl 09. Does it draw a big crowd?

Will + I played Kisco on Monday. Very fun course. Interesting design. We also played FDR.

Next Nefa points event is at Kisco Jan 10. If the weather is decent 40's etc I want to play.

Yes Alpo it draws a big crowd especially with Nefa points.

John Betts said he might come play.

After only my first time playing there i must say it lived up to all the things i had heard..........

Rocky, uneven tees..... check
Narrow, tricky fairways.... check
Old, beat up baskets..... check

......... but thats the type of courses i played back in Michigan when i first started. The trampled-down fairways cut thru the woods and old school Mach I baskets brought back memories. The course has got to be great in the summer with all the shade trees(probably a bit buggy tho). I hope there's a summer tourney there, i wanna go back this year. 8)
