Played Warwick on Monday. Hole 11 Blue was planted on Saturday.

Hole 2 is completely different from the original hole 2. The silver basket is on old 3's fairway. On the top of the 12' slope. Hole 2's Blue basket is old 3's Blue basket. The hole is much harder, and more challenging, but not nearly as fun. Both baskets are completely blind off the tee. S/S S/B B/S B/B all blind.

From hole 2 you go to old 5 which is now 3.

Hole 11 + 12 are the 2 new holes. All 4 holes (on 11) require a very unique drive with trouble lurking all over the place. You throw over Wheeler Creek which winds it way throughout hole 11. OB lurking. I parked one drive on 11 S/B, went OB on a couple. Hole 11 S/B+B/B are empty your bag holes. One of the best holes on the course. The S/S is very birdable, but if you go 10' past the pin, you are OB. The S/B was designed as a very hard bird, par is difficult, bogeys+doubles very possible with the potential OB.

Hole 12 is a 280' drive down a 30' wide wooded fairway that breaks slowly left. Nice righty drive. I love this hole as well. B/S is 30' deeper-with less of a hyzer line. The blue basket is about 80-100' to the left of the fairway. Big righty hyzer, or sidearm roller works well here. All 4 holes are fun, and birdable. The Blue basket was planted last night.

I love 6-8 of the 12 new holes. Going back today.

I'm planning a road trip down to Warwick. I'm thinking Saturday 10/25 if the weather is ok. Anyone else wanna come? Going early so i can get in 2 rounds at warwick and hopefully a round at wolfe woods. Scoontar i'm making a stop at catskill thruway exit park and ride to hook up with Gene if you want to meet up. It would be good to have someone with us that's played the course. It'll save time looking for tees and pins. If we want a big group i can fit 7. Me, Gene, and 5 others

Warwick is an awesome course!! The weather was not nice to us. Me and Gene got there at 10:30 Sleet and snow falling. That was fine to play in. It changed to rain about 12:00 :( We finished our round about 12:45. We were gonna play a round at wolfe woods but deceided not to and headed into warwick for a nice lunch instead.

This place was incredible. We played the shorts. I shot a 65 which is good for me. Finding our way around the course was pretty easy. The hole layouts blew my mind the 2 pads and 2 tees on every hole makes the holes so different. This place is gorgeous! (even in the crappy weather). The new 11 that plays over the little creek WOW! And The blue to blue 8 is like a giant U. i think 8 was my favorite hole. Each configuration is a totally different hole!

We need to spend a weekend here this coming summer! I'll bring my popup I saw some campgrounds like a mile or 2 away!

I met Jeannie. I was gonna get my skylands sweatshirt. But some mix up happened and she no longer had any XL's :( She did say that some others saw the shirts and wanted them after the fact so she is gonna contact them and do another run. I saw the lg sweatshirts they came out great! Anyone else missed out on these. Maybe contact Jeannie she said she's gonna do another run.

It's fortunate I didn't go on Sunday to Warwick...I was feeling pretty crappy all day. I had a headache, fever, and the chits. I fell asleep early afternoon. I watching Wall-E with my family...missed half the movie. Oh well. I'm better today. Just needed to sleep it off I guess.

Glad you enjoyed it Kenji. I definately want to play there. I always hear good things about that course. You're positive feedback just adds to the proof.
