Yes a drop box would be nice. I could come over after work sometime as well.

Re: Bousquet Ski Area, Pittsfield MA
I just finished updating the website for the 18 holes. http://www.bousquets.com/summer/disc-go ... erkshires/
The course is playing great we have finished up the 18 and made the adjustments with hole 4 so it is not as close to teebox for 5. We also moved the basket for 6 back 50ft to be accurate with the signage distance. (Still super aceable)
PS we want to do a course opening tournament first weekend in July, any thoughts on that????
Note* We added a drop box at hole 1 for the course fee to eliminate having to pay in the lodge.

Re: Bousquet Ski Area, Pittsfield MA
I played it today... I enjoyed the round, but there were a couple of small things, and a larger one.
Small things: The grass is long right now. It made it difficult to spot discs until I was right on top of them.
A few pointers from one hole to the next would be super helpful. I found myself searching all around, not realizing 10 was actually in the woods.
Larger thing: There's an animal pen currently going through the 17th fairway, at the pinch point of the hole. Yes, I tossed my disc in there. When I went over to it, I unfortunately found out the fence is an electric fence. I just got a little shock, but still (If I got one every time I threw poorly, I'd be bacon by now). Also the positioning of the 18th hole is about 2 feet from the pen as well.
I don't want to be all negative here, so I'll touch on some of the things I dug here:
1) The views are awesome. Worth it for that and the hike...
2) Hole 16 is a bit like playing through a tunnel. Not sure if it should be a Par 4 (I birdied it, which to me means it could be a Par 3), but a very cool hole. Coolest hole of the course for me.
3) They're putting in, or have put in, some of the tee areas. Feels like a work in progress, but they're doing a pretty good job of it.
4) When I threw the disc into the animal pen, I told the lady inside at the ticket counter. They got it back for me. I was willing to chalk it up to a "lost disc", I was just telling them where I threw it so no animals were trying to eat it. Very glad to have them go out and get it for me.
5) I did the adventure rope course while I was there. As I have a fear of heights, it was quite the accomplishment for me to be that 20 feet in the air doing some of that stuff... Totally worth the money to do it once. I did the first 2 levels, the third one looks a little Ninja Warrior for me...

Sorry about the farm pen, we will have that moved away from the disc golf course this week, we had placed it there so the animals could chew down the wooded area making it easier to find discs, but i agree it is in the way. The grass is growing like gang busters at the moment but we are trying to mow it on a weekly basis right now. And as the summer goes on we should have all of the tee boxes flatened out.

Yeah, I figured most of the issues I had were "work in progress" type things... I'll say that I still had a great day out there though! After 18, I wish I had brought my bathing suit, the pool looked so refreshing...
