Lost + Found at Joralemon Park

Post by D-bone » Wed Feb 03, 2010 8:25 pm

My friend found two discs recently at Joralmon. One Is a Discraft Wasp, the other is a 2007 Icebowl. both are tie dyed.
On the flip side, he is also missing two discs. Both are Archangels. The red one was lost near hole 9, the blue near hole 13.
Edit: the archangels were found.

MichiganJeff wrote:Thanks to D-bone, we now have a lost & found box at the J-Park kiosk(and CPS soon). Don and I have keys and once the CPS one is installed, Justin and Bob Hoffman will most likely have keys.

I'll make it a point to check it out whenever I'm out there and post up any that I find in there. I'll also make a flyer to direct others to the website to see if their discs have been returned to the box.

I'm looking around here and can't seem to find the J-Park L & F thread......... got one for Hyzer, CPS and Blatnick :?
I guess i'll change this one over to it. 8)

From Tues 2/2, I vaguely remember a glove stuck on a short tree top or something on 26, not exactly sure where.

Found on 25 or 27 near the swing set, MichJeff's dx Roc Icebowl 09. Looks like a dog found this one. Dog teeth marks, but no damage.

Greg picked up a Under Armour glove on 9 and Tim has a glove(unknown) he found on 26.

Thanks to Don and Co. for scooping up Scoward's Wasp & Greg's Sidewinder.

At the Icebowl

Post by Ven » Sun Feb 14, 2010 9:36 am

I lost an Ace Race 2009 mini on J-Park West probably between 25 and 6. It has my name on it. Now I know that using a mini to mark is much better than flipping a disc: If you leave a mini behind, no big deal. If you leave a disc behind you'll miss it when you need it next.

Peter Vander Veer has been notified that his white Sidewinder has been found on 26's fairway, so the search for that one can be called off.
Also my friend has found both of his Archangels that were previously lost have been found.
Today was a good day for finding those runaways.

Found: Clearish Blue Discraft Crush. It was handed to me by someone else in the park. There is the name Steve C II on the inside edge. There are a couple bite marks on it, but it is stil usable.
Edit: it is now in the hands of Michigan Jeff
