Everyone bailed on the Hyzer trip so the wife and I went to Willow Park. Course is overgrown, #2 is missing, & other baskets are bent up from abuse. Its a shame to see 8 baskets goin to waste in that park.

Thanks to Greg for giving Carolyn and I the grand tour of the Kurtz estate(on the way to Bennington we drove by his place and caught him mowing the lawn)......... he's got a great place with beautiful property. Really love the waterfall/river area.

Did hyzer get snow from the last storm? I want to play this weekend. I missed 2 weekends with my kitchen project then being sick. I'd be down for hyzer.

Me and My little crew were up there yesterday, made our donation and played 9 holes. 12 is completely cleared up, looks great, still haven't gotten to actually play it, cause we didn't get up there with enough time. There are still spots with very deep snow, most notably on the sides of 8, where I think I sank up to my thigh. It was a great day to be up there though... kinda interesting that certain spots of snow were noticeably cooler than others, same with right by the creek.

Oh, and I had a beautiful deuce on 7. :D

I definitely have to get back up there before the showers, just so I know what I'm up against on that back nine.

There's a distinct possibility that i'll be making a run up to Hyzer this Saturday. Carolyn's sister is coming to visit with her SIX KIDS  today thru Sunday so i figure i'll be MORE than ready to esacpe from the chaos by then.

Hyzer forecast for Saturday: A chance of rain and snow before 11am, then a chance of rain between 11am and 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 47. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

So what's the game plan? We heading to Hyzer this Saturday for a round or 2 and to see what may need to be done before April Showers? What time and where we meeting. Mich, Tim, Zip, Greg you all go up the northway and then over right? I never been that way. I go over to Scotia then up 147. What's the weather supposed to be like? I could make some breakfast or something if you all wanna meet at my place. Blueberry pancakes?

no matter which way i go , it always seems to take an hour........... from your place it looks like up 147 would be quicker(at least what Google Maps shows) and if you take the Northway all the way up you may get caught in Saratoga weekend traffic.
