Heard a few compliments at April Showers as to the length of the form you had out there. Gonna be great to launch off of it once it's done.

Please drag a broom across the wet cement to give the surface some grippy texture.

Form is in and level, remesh is there, 50 gallons of water is there.

I need help. This weekend, who can do sat or sun?? Takes 1 or 2 hours to pour it, and then we play a round.

I'm going to use the same technique to get grippy texture that I used on 2 and 14 with the trowel. I didn't use that on the other tee pads because I poured so many at a time that I only had time to trowel them flat before they hardened up. 2 and 14 I poured from bags so I had time to mess around with it.

I might get antsy and do it today. One more pot of coffee and it's happening. The black flies are REALLY bad now and I think I'm the only one crazy enough to do this job while being eaten alive, no sense everybody else being eaten.

I did it this morning, done by 11 AM. Took 30 bags of concrete 80 pounds each. At 1 PM I wetted and tarped it. Taking the tarp off saturday morning.

Tim and I christened it..... Wasn't pretty. :oops:
I clipped a few pine branches overhanging the tee, they were an eye hazard.
