Unbelievable amount of rain this week at Hyzer. I have a rain bucket for measuring. Sunday I measured 3 inches. Monday had 2 more. Tuesday was only a drizzle of one inch, but today it has rained 3 inches so far and is pouring now. I have seen soil erosion. Hurricane Irene last week saturated the ground so nothing is soaking in, just running off. I feel like a fish on Noah's Ark. I have started to sprout gills. My feet are growing webbed toes. Texas is having a drought? They should move here and complain.

2011 is the wettest year I've ever seen in my life, I should move to Seattle to dry out.

fun web site. Tells us that during the past 14 days the DisCap has received anywhere from 6-8 inches to over 20 inches (Catskills). Tells us some places (Catskills) have gotten over 80 inches of rain in 2011 to date, and it's still only September. Hyzer got 10-15 inches in the past 2 weeks.
