First golfer of the season arrived today, I found footprints. Played hole 1 and 2 and quit by walking over the bank from 2's pin to the road.

After the big thaw the snow is only 2 feet deep now, down from 4.

Did I say 3 feet? Well now it's 4. Got 8 inches last night and 14 two days ago. This is bullshizzle.

A lady I work with is selling her house. It is about 1 mile away from Hyzer. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, 2 car garage on 2/3 acre. Price ~ 150K. It is also very close to a lake with public access. If any of you Hyzer Creek die-hards are interested, please give me a shout.

I was going to ask how deep it was. Another two or three weeks before it's clear. Have there been any hardcore players through?

Judging by the tracks one person and a dog played all 18 holes yesterday. I can't believe it, usually people show up, look around, and leave. This guy must have been hard core.

Oh by the way, it snowed 4 inches today so back up to 20" on the ground.

Tomorrow (saturday) would be a great day to play Hyzer because even though the snow is still 2 feet deep it's all hardened up and you can walk across the top without breaking through, you can step as hard as you want, it's like walking on dirt. And it's not icy either so no sliding. It's going to be 12 degrees tonight so it will be real hard. When it warms up again the snow will get soft and you'll be walking through 2 feet deep snow again.
