Same thing happened last October, the day of the Battle. This is how high the water was then, and today again. This is maximum water level ever.

I pulled out the OB list for the Battle last year so I could just modify it for this weekend. One key phrase I had to edit out was "dry creek beds are not OB".

H20 O/B will be a factor this weekend.

We may have to OB line hole 3 because the crick is running past the pin. By saturday it should be a lot lower, maybe not a problem by then. Water tends to run off the land pretty quickly because it's high up, most of the land is dry already this morning. Not so for the lowland people on the Hudson, they say this is the highest the river has run in recorded history going to the 1800's. Fort Edward is under water.

This is NOT the highest Hyzer Creek has run. It didn't overflow the culvert pipe at hole 9 like it did for the Battle of '09

Hyzer is high up and the creek level lowers right after it stops raining, usually within hours. Lower down the creeks and rivers flood the following day even after the rain stopped but this is the headwaters. By saturday everything will be quool.

Is the course fully playable after all this rain? Thinking about coming up tomorrow.

Thanks
