Sounds good. Luckily the Ace Pot is only worth $150.
I'd like to propose rule 501c4.
white tee box aces pay out in the percentage that they are shorter than the blue tees.
and..... good luck with that

Amendum to rule 501c4. Rule 501c4 is only applicable to aces thrown by Greg Kurtz. All other players will gladly take 100% of the ace pot.

Just out of curiosity do people click the link? I tried doing it this way to force traffic to disc golf scene. It's a great site for tracking our leagues. Easy to click on the leaderboard and see any players rounds for the league. Take a look at the J dubs league and bag tags as well to see how everyone else is playing lately.

I click the link... Even though I haven't played dubs this year, I still read the results every week...

I bookmarked Discgolfscene, but the link above is much easier because I can get all the info I need here too. I probably wouldn't have noticed the link if you didn't just mention it. Good looks kenjiac.

I played the best round in many years, by only using a putter. Dead straight down the fairway every time, and just as far as with a driver. I'm thinking I may never use a driver again. Really. Who knew? Now I know why Brinster tees off with a putter on half the holes.

Discraft APX putter, my new go-to long distance driver.

Had an idea for next weeks first Thursday. Play single doubles from your partners lie and then add the scores together. So where ever your partner throws you throw your next shot from there and they throw from your lie. They end up with a 2 you get a 3 you write down a 5 for the hole. Or same thing just keep the best score, so same scenario you'd write down a 2.

So just play two sets of alternate shot?

I say Stableford (or Modified Stableford really) --- highest score wins.

Double eagle 8 points
Eagle/Ace 5 points
Birdie 2 points
Par 0 points
Bogey -1 point
Double bog or > -3 points

So if you played the front nine at CPS and shot 323 443 323 it would be 3 points (6 Par=0 1 Bogey =-1 2 Birdies =4). It definitely rewards going for birdie since the benefit for birdie is better than the penalty for bogey.

That is a way less complicated way of describing it.
